First Dance

Things learned from the search for our first dance:

1) The "love song" radio station on spotify is the best worst station ever. Try it. I dare ya. 

2) Jacob doesn't understand that "without you" by harry nilson is the best love song ever. Maybe best song ever, period.

Jen Says Go(es) Mobile

Due to unrelenting pressure from my reader base, I have decided to bring Jen Says back (for now). I have installed the Blogger app on my phone, thus the blog may become a series of complaints about strange Caltrain riders and their smells.

For now, I will leave you with some highlights from my Russian River Bachelorette Weekend. On Saturday night, we walked down the road to the Northwood Country Club for Karaoke with Country Dan:

1) A pony-tailed dancy pants man sang "Candy Man". It was not creepy at all.

2) Our party really knows how to choose songs. We did a group rendition of "Wanna Dance with Somebody", then sang "Mother" by Danzig, and followed it up with "Stay" by Lisa Loeb. The locals were so impressed they got up on stage and sang with us (for "Mother", of course).
